Our Elaspeed splices incorporate cutting-edge cold shrink EPDM technology, mirroring that of medium-voltage cable, and are widely esteemed as the premier "delivery system" for medium-voltage cable accessories. This solution is simple, robust, reliable, user-friendly, safe, and flexible, requiring no special tools or torches. The cold shrinking process ensures concentric splice recovery.
Prysmian's newly launched Elaspeed Compact Series delivers 20-25% space savings for use in confined areas. All Elaspeed splices adhere to IEEE 404 specifications.

ColdFitTM Terminations
Prysmian introduces a cutting-edge line of outdoor polymer cold shrink terminations for 5kV, 15kV, 25/28kV, and 35kV applications, as well as an indoor ColdfitTM termination for 5-15kV shielded applications. Our ColdFit outdoor PCT (with sheds) and indoor PICT (without sheds) are medium-voltage cold shrink polymer terminations, ensuring rapid, effortless, and dependable installation.
The ColdFit terminations shrink uniformly on the cable as the "best-in-class" inner support core is removed, with the top mastic water seal integrated into the ColdFit termination, requiring no complex assembly or heat. Rest assured, all ColdFit terminations comply with IEEE 48 specifications.

Deadbreak Separable Connectors
Prysmian provides top-quality Deadbreak Separable Connectors, specifically designed for 15/25/35kV applications. The connector features insulating and conducting rubber components made of a special EPDM elastomer formulation and undergoes a peroxide-curing process, ensuring superior elastomer stress relaxation characteristics under high ambient temperatures. This contributes to reliable, long-term operation in both above-ground and subsurface installations. Rest assured, all our separable connectors conform to IEEE 386 specifications.
