Lifeline® Fire-resistive Cable System

Response to Beyond UL 2196: A Comparative Study of UL Listed 2-Hour Fire-Rated Cables’ Properties

This paper addresses a white paper and a video published by nVent Thermal in January 2021 that contain misleading claims about ceramifying insulation cables. The claims made by nVent Thermal are based on a company-funded test conducted by an anonymous laboratory, which lacked regulatory oversight. The testing process did not adhere to accepted industry standards, and many of the methods used do not accurately reflect real-life scenarios.

Câbles d'alimentation RHW-2

Les câbles Lifeline^® RHW-2 résistants au feu pendant deux heures sont utilisés dans les circuits de sécurité incendie et d’urgence, installés dans des conduits EMT et XW Breathsaver^® phénoliques. Ils sont certifiés UL 2196 comme câbles résistants au feu conçus pour survivre à un incendie.

Câbles d'alimentation blindés

Les câbles Lifeline^® MC et Lifeline^® MC LSZH sont des câbles ignifuges de deux heures conçus pour les circuits de sécurité incendie et d’urgence, fonctionnant comme des conduits autonomes. Ils sont certifiés UL 2196 pour la résistance au feu, garantissant leur survie en cas d’incendie.

Câble à fibre optique Lifeline® QFCI

Le câble Lifeline® QFCI est essentiel pour les systèmes de communication critique et d’urgence, adapté aux applications intérieures et extérieures. Il est fabriqué à partir de matériaux à faible émission de fumée et sans halogène (LSZH) et est ignifuge. Son design breveté garantit un fonctionnement ininterrompu pendant plus de trois heures dans des incendies atteignant des températures allant jusqu’à 1000 °C, conformément à la norme IEC 60331-25 mise à jour.

Câbles Lifeline® RC90

Lifeline® RC90 est classé selon la norme ULC-S139 pour les tests de câbles ignifuges, offrant une résistance de deux heures en installation horizontale (H) et d’une heure en installation verticale (V).
