Prysmian continues to promote transparency and sustainability through digitalization, ranking among the top ten best websites according to Lundquist

The corporate website is an important asset of the Prysmian Group digital ecosystem. Prysmian confirmed its role as leader of the “Industrial Goods and Services” sector for the third year in a row, and has been ranked among the TOP10 Italian listed companies for the transparency and effectiveness of its online communications, in line with leaders Snam, ENI and Hera.

Lundquist, a leading international research company in the corporate communication field, has published the 21st edition of the Webranking 2017-2018 research in collaboration with Comprend, analyzing the state-of-the-art of the digital and corporate communications of the Italian listed companies. It is considered Europe’s leading survey on corporate websites and the only global ranking based on stakeholder demands.

This year Lundquist analyzed more than 112 websites, taking into account KPIs like the use of videos, infographics, employee testimonials, the technology of the websites, the transparency of the information (both financial and non-financial), and the use of stories, which better narrate the company’s approach to issues like sustainability and business.

"The goal of the new website – stated Lorenzo Caruso, Corporate & Business Communications Director – is to focus on Corporate, Business and Employer Branding as strategic pillars for the overall brand enhancement project. Our aim is to become a technology enabler by building a digital society and supporting the transition to cleaner and smarter energies"

We have been positively rated for having improved the transparency of our digital communications and strengthening the Corporate Brand. The strength of our new website is the clear communication of the company’s identity through storytelling, which allows us to talk about big business achievements and people’s stories.

We are a public company, therefore we have a strong responsibility to our stakeholders: our website and our social media channels – LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram – are the platforms we usually use to share our values, engage our audience and strengthen our relationship with them.

Prysmian Group has invested in digital content strategy and corporate brand activities to increase transparency, improving areas of the new website such as: Homepage, Corporate section, Investor Relations, Sustainability, People & Careers.

"We are continuously enhancing our new website to further engage our stakeholders by presenting relevant and tailor made content.  We are guiding our audience to the most strategic Prysmian businesses that are Telecom (Optical Fibre) and Power Grids (Offshore Wind Farms). The number of visits and the feedback of our audience confirm their involvement: every month, we generate more than 135.000 sessions with a growth of time spent on pages, and these data increase month after month", concluded Caruso.

According to the European Webranking 2017, Prysmian Group confirmed its leading position above 81 companies operating in the "Industrial Good and Services" industry ranking as the best Italian company for this sector.
