North America Leadership

Andrea Pirondini is the President and CEO of Prysmian Group North America (Canada and the United States). Prior to this position, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Prysmian Group for 7 years. While COO, Pirondini was a leader in developing the Prysmian Group sustainability strategy and initiatives, while overseeing all manufacturing operations. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Pirelli Tire S.p.A. In 1989, he started his career working for the Pirelli Group, holding various positions in the U.K., Italy, Turkey, Russia and Egypt where he oversaw the management and manufacturing for both Turkey and Russia when he worked in those countries. For more than 25 years, Pirondini was involved in restructuring the manufacturing footprint of energy cables for both the Group’s Tire and Cable & Systems businesses.

Pirondini holds a master’s degree in business and economics from Bocconi University in Milan.


Richard Parvesse is the President of the Draka EHC Elevator & Escalator. Rich has been with the company for over 20 years, where he previously served as the head of the Industrial & Specialty business unit for Prysmian Group North America. Rich began his career as an Inside Sales Representative for the Okonite Company, later moving to an outside sales role. Richard went to work for Draka in 2001 as a Regional Sales Manager. Richard held several sales and business management positions for Draka and then for Prysmian after the acquisition in 2012.

Richard holds a bachelor’s degree from Rider University.

Paul Furtado is the head of Operations for Prysmian Group North America. Paul gained a Master of Business Administration at Western New England College and from 1994 he covered various leadership roles increasing in scale and accountability from Supervisor to Plant Manager. He joined Prysmian Group after the acquisition of General Cable as VP of Manufacturing – T&I and specialties.

Paul has over 25 years of manufacturing experience and he is a firm believer that sustained improvement of any significance is built on the foundation of people involvement, commitment, and engagement.

Saskia Veerkamp is the head of Finance Administration & Control for Prysmian Group North America. After the acquisition of Draka and supporting the Group integration activities, Saskia took over the role of CFO Oceania for almost 5 years in Australia. Mid 2016 she started as CFO of ASEAN in Singapore and extended to Oceania in March 2019.

Saskia likes working in different environments, is Dutch, married and has two children.

Cheryl Stevens is the head of Information Technology for Prysmian Group North America. Cheryl was Director of Applications for General Cable North America and has worked at the Highland Heights facility for all 20+ years of her tenure. She led the IT effort of seven General Cable System Acquisitions and three divestitures for the North America region. Cheryl and her team have designed and implemented software solutions for all areas of the business and in addition to technical expertise are highly skilled in Project Management, Lean Sigma and Agile development.

Cheryl has recently joined the Advanced Leadership Program from Milan SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Brian Schulties is the head of Purchasing for Prysmian Group North America. Brian has more than 30 years of experience in the procurement field in the automotive, foundry and wire and cable markets. Prior to joining the company, he was the vice president of Sourcing for General Cable.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cleary University and has a lifetime C.P.M. certification.

Valeria Garcia is the head of Research & Development for Prysmian Group North America and has been with the company for 31 years. Valeria first served as Development Materials Manager for Pirelli Cables in her home country of Brazil. She was later named Energy Engineering Manager then promoted to Chief Engineer of Energy and Telecom for Prysmian Group South America.

Valeria is fluent in Italian and English and holds a chemistry-technician degree from the Technical School Walter Belian, a pharmacy and biochemistry degree from the University of São Paul and an MBA from Fundação Strong FGV.

John Andrews is the head of North America Human Resources. John first started with the company in 2011 as the Director of Human Resources for the Industrial/Construction/Specialty Division. Prior to that, John worked in various Human Resources roles for CEMEX including Regional Human Resources Manager for the Midwest and Western/Northern Florida. In 2005 John was named Regional Vice President of Human Resources for the Western United States.

John earned a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration from Kent State University.

Bob Hust is the head of Legal and Corporate Affairs for Prysmian Group North American. With more than 30 years of experience, Bos has expertise in a diverse range of practice areas including contracts, warranty, product liability, litigation management, labor and employment, compliance and intellectual property. Bob previously served as a Partner with Frost Brown Todd where he chaired the General Counsel Services Group as well as the Automotive Industry Team. Prior to that, he served as General Counsel, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer for Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc.

Mr. Hust holds a Juris Doctor Degree in Law from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Mr. Hust also earned his Bachelor of the Arts degree in Journalism and English from Ohio State University.

Heather Stolper is head of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental for Prysmian Group North America. Heather joined General Cable in 2005 as Plant Manager of the Automotive Assembly plant in Altoona, PA. In 2008 she assumed the role of Plant Manager in the Lawrenceburg, KY Telecom plant. She moved to the General Cable Corporate Headquarters in 2011, where she has taken on multiple roles, including Vice President and Manufacturing Team Leader of the Communications and Assembly operations, and Vice President, Supply Chain & Sourcing.

Heather holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute and an MBA from The Ohio State University.

Anna Wright is the Vice President of Marketing and External Communications, leading Prysmian Group’s branding and media initiatives for North America. Anna’s extensive experience spanning newsrooms and corporate settings provides her with a unique perspective that she leverages to promote Prysmian’s external image. She began her career as a television news anchor and reporter for stations throughout the Midwest, including WKRC-TV Local 12 in Cincinnati. After leaving the news industry, she advanced in positions at Johnson & Johnson’s medical device company, Dinsmore & Shohl, a national law firm, and Northern Kentucky University.
 
Anna earned her Journalism degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
 

Brian DiLascia is head of Power Distribution for Prysmian Group North America and has been with the company for more than 20 years. After completing the Pirelli Cables and Systems Graduate Program, Brian served as an industrial engineer in Pirelli’s Lexington, SC facility and was later promoted to Director of Operations for Pirelli’s factory near Vancouver. He returned to the Lexington as Vice President of Operations and later became General Manager for Pirelli’s fiber cable business in North America.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree in operations management and industrial engineering from Cornell University.

Brian Moriarty is the head of Trade & Installers for Prysmian Group North America and has over 25 years of sales experience. In 2008, Brian joined General Cable as Vice President of Specialty Sales with a focus on serving the oil and gas, nuclear, wind, solar, military, assembly, fiber and transit sectors. Since 2010, Brian has served as Vice President for both the U.S. and North America sales and in 2015 was named Senior Vice President for Global Sales for General Cable.

Brian holds a bachelor's degree in Management from St. Louis University.

Patrick Jacobi is the head of Telecom for Prysmian Group North America. Patrick began his career in 2003 with a small logistics firm based in Chicago, IL before quickly transitioning to the General Motors subsidiary Duramax Diesel. After nearly 6 years, he left the world of automotive and in 2009 joined General Cable. Over the past 11 years, he has held various roles in sourcing, supply chain, plant management and product management. His role, prior to being the head of Telecom, was as the MMS Business Unit Lead and Commercial Operations Director. In these dual roles, Patrick was the head of Product and Sales Management Teams for the North American Multi-Media Solutions business unit reporting to the head of Global Multi-Media Solutions. Additionally, he was tasked with driving collaboration, strategy, and organization of the Telecom Solutions business reporting directly to the head of Telecom Solutions North America.

Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.

Nathan Kelley is the head of High Voltage for Prysmian Group North America and has been with the company for more than 20 years. Nathan first began his career with Pirelli in Research and Development at the Lexington facility. He went on to spend 8 years in the High Voltage office in New Jersey before returning to Lexington to manage the engineering team responsible for the High Voltage Business Unit, where he participated in many of the largest High Voltage cable projects ever conducted in North America.

Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech.

Max Livigni has a Degree in Business Studies from England and received a Global Executive MBA from Bocconi University in Italy. He is an experienced executive working in the cable industry for over 25 years in several companies and in different roles. He joined Pirelli Cables in 2001, responsible for Export Cable Distributors and Wholesalers. In 2002 he joined the Submarine Cable Division where he served 13 years in different roles covering sales, business development and project management globally. In 2015 he was named CEO of Prysmian Finland and more recently supported the Automotive BU as VP of Global Sales.
Matt Bedell is head of the Industrial & Specialty business for Prysmian Group North America. Matt joined General Cable in 2002 and has held various roles, including process engineering, operations management, supply chain, and product management. Then, he became the Director of Commercial Operations for the North America Trade & Installers Business Unit. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a master's degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Landry Molimbi is Head of Asset Management and Prysmian Electronics. Landry is responsible for leading all Asset Management and Product Development activities in North America for High Voltage & Medium Voltage Partial Discharge monitoring services, optical sensing products (DTS & DAS) and innovative solutions for North America Business Units (High Voltage, Power Distribution, Industrial, Telecom).

In this role, Landry is focused on business development, project management, technical sales support, and Partial Discharge measurement services for the Prysmian Group proprietary and revolutionary PRY-CAM technologies for the asset management of electrical systems.

Landry started his career with General Cable (Silec) in 2007, where he managed commercial operations for North America HV/EHV underground transmission projects. In 2011, he joined NKT Photonics, where he served as Director of Sales for the Americas and managed a local team responsible for the engineering, sales, marketing and installation of Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing solutions for the Energy Transmission & Distribution industry.

Landry moved to the Prysmian Group to lead the Prysmian Electronics BU in NA in 2018.

Born in Paris, France, Landry holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the ENSEM, a school of the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine in Nancy, with a specialization completed on an international assignment at the ETSEIB, part of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. Landry presented his Master's thesis following work at the French Transmission System Operator RTE. Landry is also a member of various industry committees and an active member of CIGRE. He is fluent in French and Spanish.

Kevin Cummings is the head of Compliance for Prysmian Group North America. In addition to Kevin’s Compliance function, he is also responsible for coordinating the global compliance audit activities which are an integral part of our training and awareness. Kevin transitioned to his current role in 2019 from Internal Audit.

Kevin began his career with General Cable in 2015 as an Integrated Internal Audit Manager which concentrated on the internal control frameworks considering financial, operational and IT processes. Prior to joining General Cable, Kevin specialized in Compliance and Internal Audit services for Deloitte and Protiviti.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor and Risk Professional.
