Outside the company, Prysmian is committed to ensuring that suppliers also respect Human Rights, employing a specific Due Diligence process that assesses risk at the supply chain level. We meticulously evaluate the risks associated with suppliers and raw materials, enforce ethical standards and policies on Human Rights and conflict minerals, and adopt a responsible code of business conduct. Prysmian educates suppliers about these guidelines during the scouting and qualification stages. We conduct audits to vigilantly monitor the supplier base, preventing any violations and, if necessary, taking action — including reconsidering future commercial partnerships with the involved suppliers.
