As a shy teenager, Nathan Massey struggled to gain the popularity of many of his peers. Maybe that’s why, on a stormy November night, he disobeyed his mother’s orders and snuck out of the house to attend an underground punk rock concert. Dared by his friends to climb a metal scaffolding as the band thrashed below, he did so, reaching the top just as a lightning bolt struck, sending 200 million volts of electricity through his body,  burning him severely, and leaving him with the ability to manipulate the electromagnetic energy all around us. Nathan can create, shape and manipulate electricity and electronics. Of late, he has been testing his limited ability to control the weather and create thunderstorms. While using his powers, Nathan’s skin turns a highly reflective aluminum silver color, similar to the T-1000 character in Terminator 2. Though he always keeps the same body form, his body is extremely flexible, almost like liquid metal in its ability to move and flow within itself. Together, these abilities let Nathan become STABILOY.
