Product description
The OptiTap®-compatible ezDROP™ Preconnectorized Drop Cables enable rapid provisioning of FTTP services. Installers with minimal equipment and training can plug them into compatible ports for reliable connections. Tight tolerances and high-performance materials provide low insertion loss while mitigating reflections.
Various connector options are available, including Hardened SC/APC (OptiTap®-compatible) and standard SC/APC.
The cable itself is popular and flat. It's available in an aerial self-support version compatible with P-clamps. A tuneable version with a detachable 24AWG wire is also available for buried or duct applications.
ezDROP™ OptiTap-compatible drop cables are compatible with any OptiTap® style terminal. This includes Corning's OptiTap-style Multiport and Flex Terminals and CommScope's Multiport Service and Flexible Service Terminals with OptiTap® adapters.
