Prysmian Simplifies the Deployment of Aerial Broadband Networks

Prysmian's all-dielectric, self-supporting (ADSS) fiber optic cable product line is complex, as cable selection must be tailored to each specific network application. Several factors influence cable design and selection, including regional weather conditions, installation sag (ground clearance), and the maximum span between poles. Regional characteristics, such as the potential for ice buildup on cables and wind speed effects, also play a significant role. 
 

In addition to selecting cables based on application requirements, it is essential to choose pole attachment hardware that matches the ADSS cable's outside diameter. As a result, nearly every ADSS cable design requires a unique set of pole attachment hardware.
