Partnership in Action

In 2017, Prysmian co-founded Corporate Hangar, a platform for identifying and launching promising startup ideas sourced from employees, customers, and stakeholders. These ideas are transformed into structured business plans and piloted through the Prysmian Innovation Accelerator (PRIA).

Prysmian uses an “open innovation” model to collaborate with partners on projects that extend beyond its core cables business. Corporate Hangar has incubated three startups: Kablee, a digital tool for cable manufacturers targeting rural data connectivity and scrap cable marketplaces; and Cultifutura, which develops vertical farming solutions for offices. Prysmian Electronics, fully owned by Prysmian, offers monitoring and fault location solutions for various voltage cable systems.
