Prysmian’s Long Span ADSS version offers reliable self-supporting performance over distances of up to 2,600 feet (800 meters). Each Long Span ADSS cable is custom-engineered for optimal placement on utility towers and is designed to operate under full weather loads, ensuring safe and dependable performance throughout its lifetime. For installation on high-voltage lines up to 275 kV, an optional track-resistant jacket is available to protect against dry-band arcing damage. The cables can support up to 288 fibers, and those with more than 72 fibers feature a 24-fiber per tube design to minimize environmental load. A 12-fiber per tube design is also available for fiber counts of 84-144.
