Prysmian’s CAROL® Electronics provides a wide range of coaxial and twinaxial designs in unbalanced arrays and precision-balanced pairs. These are designed to meet the demands of modern high-speed, wide-bandwidth electronics over long distances, while minimizing signal loss or degradation. This gives system designers a choice of cost-effective products that comply with the latest standards set by UL, CSA, and/or the FCC.

Our Solutions

When it comes to the CATV market, CAROL® coaxial constructions are tailored to specific regions. Unlike other electronic products, there is no single standard construction for coaxial cables. It is crucial to avoid using an inappropriate coaxial cable for CATV applications in your area; we recommend consulting with the local CATV company.

Our CAROL product mix includes standard RG/U-type coaxial constructions in the widely used 50-, 75-, and 93-Ohm designs, as well as miniature coaxial products for smaller high-speed applications. Our twinaxial products not only meet but exceed the rigorous demands of today's precision-balanced pair systems. For instance, ensuring minimal capacitance imbalance is essential for long-distance data transmission.
