Coaxial Cable
Meeting today’s and tomorrow’s needs
Prysmian's CAROL® Electronics offers a wide selection of coaxial and twinaxial designs, including unbalanced arrays and precision-balanced pairs. These products are specifically engineered to meet the requirements of modern high-speed, wide-bandwidth electronics over long distances while minimizing signal loss and degradation. This provides system designers with a range of cost-effective solutions that comply with the latest standards established by UL, CSA, and the FCC. As a result, they represent a practical and economical choice, ensuring a sound investment.
Our Solutions
When it comes to the CATV market, CAROL® coaxial constructions are not a one-size-fits-all solution. They are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of different regions. Unlike many electronic products, coaxial cables do not follow a single standard construction. Therefore, it is crucial to avoid using incompatible coaxial cables for CATV applications in your area. We recommend consulting with your local CATV company to ensure you are using the best solution for your region.
Our CAROL® product range includes standard RG/U-type coaxial constructions in the commonly used 50-, 75-, and 93-Ohm designs, as well as miniature coaxial products for smaller high-speed applications. Additionally, our twinaxial products meet and exceed the stringent demands of today’s precision-balanced pair systems, which are designed to minimize signal interference and ensure reliable data transmission. For example, maintaining minimal capacitance imbalance is essential for successful long-distance data transmission.
