Prysmian offers a comprehensive range of high-performance CCW® armor cables, which provide reliable power, variable frequency drive (VFD), control, automation, signal, and instrumentation solutions. These cables are suitable for upstream offshore and onshore applications, as well as midstream and downstream oil and gas operations. CCW cables classified as Type MC-HL are approved for use in Class I Division 1 and Zone 1 environments.

Prysmian's AIRGUARD® polymeric armored cable replaces outdated interlocked, continuously corrugated, and welded (CCW) cables. AIRGUARD cables are more robust and offer smaller bend radii and greater flexibility compared to Type MC-HL cables. With its durable polymeric AIR BAG™ armor and chemical barrier protection, this cable is ideal for harsh environmental conditions. AIRGUARD is available in medium-voltage, low-voltage, instrumentation, and VFD cable constructions. Cables listed as Type MC-HL are approved for use in Class I Division 1 and Zone 1 applications.
