Carolina Business Review Interviews Prysmian Group North America CEO Hakan Ozmen

Hakan Ozmen, CEO of Prysmian Group North America recently joined a discussion panel hosted by Carolina Business Review, the leading source for business and public policy discourse in North and South Carolina. During the show, Hakan joined Jonathan Halkyard, CEO, Extended Stay America and Sarah House, Senior Economist, Wells Fargo Securities to discuss near-term economic development and general business indicators with host Chris William.

Among the items discussed, the group addressed trade concerns and material availability, as well as pricing, inflation and interest rates. In addition, Hakan spoke directly to the need for increased internet access in rural areas, citing private investments as pivotal to closing the rural-urban divide and supporting future growth.

The panel later shifted its focus to the regional economic benefits of conducting business in the Carolinas, concluding with a conversation about the positive impact of immigration on the region and the diverse economic environment that it creates.

The show aired on several broadcast networks across the Carolinas, including PBS NC on April 27; SC Channel on May 3; SCETV on May 6; and ETV World on May 9.
