Electrical Distribution Channel Award Winners at the 2019 National Electronic Manufacturers Representatives Association Meeting
General Cable, one of three distinct commercial brands of Prysmian Group, handed out awards to their representative sales agencies during the 2019 National Electronic Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA) Meeting, which was held in Dallas, TX. At the annual meeting, performance awards were presented for accomplishments made in 2018. “Prysmian Group and General Cable are represented by the best manufacturer’s representative agencies in the electrical industry and we are very proud to recognize our top-performing manufacturer’s sales representatives,” said Joe Williams, Vice President of Sales, Electrical Distribution, Prysmian Group North America.
Each year, General Cable’s Electrical Distribution Inside Sales associates select the Representative Inside Sales Associate of the Year. For 2018, the award was presented to Tim Scheerer, United Electrical Sales, for his overall knowledge of General Cable products, processes, computer systems, clients and markets, as well as his ability to deliver outstanding customer service. In addition, Tim has exhibited the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully grow sales and manage the daily business flow.
General Cable also presented the Director’s Club Awards, which are presented to those who represent General Cable’s product offering and are selected based on the obtainment of the 2018 business plan objectives. The 2018 awards went to Pacific Western Agencies, Inc., Cardel-Criste, Casey Electric Sales, DeFazio Industries and Farmer Electrical Sales Inc. and I-Pro Inc.
The final award presented was the prestigious Representative of the Year award. To achieve this honor, the representative sales agency must first be a member of the Director’s Club for the year and then have gone on to achieve spectacular results for that year as well. The winner of the 2018 Representative of the Year was presented to DeFazio Industries. “DeFazio Industries exhibited masterful creativity in leveraging Prysmian’s strengths in finding and winning key projects during a challenging transition year. I am proud of DeFazio’s ability to quickly adapt and excel as they embrace their role with the new Prysmian Group organization,” said Suji Sullivan, Director of Sales, Electrical Distribution- Southeast, Prysmian Group North America.
