Prysmian Group to Showcase Multiple Product Offerings at the Upcoming 2018 National Electrical Contractors Association Convention

Prysmian Group North America, a world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industries, will reinforce its strong association with the electrical contractor sector at the 2018 National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Convention in Philadelphia, PA from Sept. 30 – Oct. 2. Prysmian’s latest range of products will be on display including Lifeline® and AirGuard™ Cable Solutions supported by a comprehensive team of market and product specialists.

The Prysmian Group product portfolio includes low and medium voltage cables as well as a comprehensive range of accessories for splicing, connecting and terminating energy cables. These include ELASPEED™ Compact Splice, COLDFIT™ & ELASPEED™ Terminators as well as Glands.

Lifeline® Products
Our new Lifeline® products offer advanced flexibility to industrial and commercial markets. Engineered to withstand temperatures up to 1850°F, Prysmian’s UL 2196-Certified Lifeline® products allow emergency circuits within buildings and transportation systems to continue operating for at least two hours in extreme fire conditions. The new Lifeline® MC and Lifeline® MC LSZH systems utilize self-contained raceways, and in addition to Lifeline® RHW-2 cable-in-conduit, provide maximum flexibility and cost savings for an array of fire-resistive applications.

The Airguard™ product range includes solutions for Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Instrumentation and Control cable applications. Therefore, it is an effective alternative to a cable in a conduit system and armored cables. It can also be used on horizontal and vertical feeders, branch circuits, and general industrial power applications. Airguard™ power cables are UL-approved for installation in-tray, raceway, aerial and direct buried environments.
