Prysmian Group’s Allison Coleman Recognized as 30 Under 35 Award Winner by tED Magazine

Prysmian Group, the world leader in the energy and telecom cable industry, is pleased to announce Allison Coleman, Director of Commercial Operations for Trade and Installers North America, has been named among tED Magazine’s “30 Under 35” winners – an award program that recognizes rising stars of the electrical industry.

“I am honored to be selected as one of tED Magazine’s “30 under 35” winners,” said Coleman. “I really enjoy what I do at Prysmian and how it positively impacts our employees and customers. I am thankful for my team and the opportunity to excel and continue impacting the wire and cable industry.”

Coleman is the Director of Commercial Operations for Prysmian Group North America’s Trade & Installers division and is responsible for a $1.4B business unit. She leads 55 individuals, including seven direct reports and focuses on community culture through intentional leadership collaboration and team building. She’s the connection point for the commercial business and operations, giving her unique insight by leveraging her engineering background and strategic leadership skills.

She serves on several committees across Prysmian, including the North American Sustainability Steering Committee and the Outreach Committee. On top of her organization committee involvement, Coleman has completed prestigious leadership programs within the company, including the Prysmian Journey to Advanced Leadership Program – Prysmian’s flagship leadership program – and the Elevate Executive Leadership Program.

For this award, Coleman was selected from a pool of applicants across the electrical industry, including distributors, manufacturers, manufacturing rep agencies and logistic companies.

Coleman and the other “30 under 35” winners will be featured in the July digital-only edition of tED magazine, throughout the year with individual profiles as “Exclusive Features” at www.tedmag.com, and on the “DistributED with tED magazine” podcast. They will officially be honored at the upcoming NAED LEAD Conference, scheduled for October 3-5 in Denver, Colorado.
