Graduate Program Build the Future

What is Build the Future?

Build the Future is the Prysmian Graduate Program, and 2026 will mark our 15th edition!

We are looking for talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are eager to contribute to a more sustainable world. If you are excited about taking on new challenges and making a difference, this is your opportunity to impact our communities' energy transition and digitalization.

Join our global team and help us build a better future for everyone!

The program offers two distinct paths: the Global Build the Future, which provides a 3-year international experience, and the Empower Your Community path, where you will work in the region where you were hired. More details are provided below.

Are you ready to take on the challenge?

Our Graduate Program offers an immersive experience at our company from day one.

The program begins with a two-week Global Induction, featuring training and activities led by the Prysmian Academy in collaboration with a top-ranking business school.

After the induction, you will take part in a one-year job rotation across three different departments: Research and Development, Operations (based at one of our production sites), and Sales Support/Technical Sales. This first year will be spent in the country where you were hired. Following the initial year of rotations, you will embark on an international assignment that lasts for three years.

In your third year, if you are part of the Global Build the Future Program, you will continue with the international assignment. If you are part of the Local Empower Your Community Program, you will assume a local role in North America. In both cases, you will be assigned to a technical role at one of our production sites, closely linked to the core of our business. You will learn new ways of working, acquire new knowledge, and experience different cultures.

At the end of your international assignment, when you return to the country you were hired in, you will continue your career at Prysmian in the same area or in a new one, depending on your performance and available development opportunities.

Who are you?

  • You are enthusiastic about starting a career in our industry and are prepared to take on a new challenge.
  • You have either graduated in the last 18 months or are currently completing a degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or Business and Economics.
  • As a global company, fluency in English is essential.
  • You have experience working or studying abroad and are open to an international opportunity with Prysmian.
  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills. You enjoy learning from and collaborating with colleagues.

Questions & Answers

After completing your local onboarding, you will attend an induction that provides an overview of our business and products. This induction is an excellent opportunity to network, and you will have the chance to meet our CEOs and business leaders. You will receive a comprehensive overview of the company, our products, and our technology.

Your training, organized by the prestigious Prysmian Academy in collaboration with a top-ranking business school, will continue throughout the program. You will also engage in various business games and training sessions with our senior managers.

During the rotations, participants can explore different fields and develop their careers within Prysmian. We will take into account your qualifications, interests, feedback on the rotations, and the business's needs to find a role that best fits you. You may also express a geographical preference for the international assignment; however, the specific location will depend on the available positions.

During the rotation period, each participant should begin to identify the field they wish to work in for the remainder of the program and during international assignments. Prysmian will adopt an individualized approach to match each graduate with a suitable role, taking into account their qualifications, interests, feedback from rotations, and business needs. Participants may express a geographical preference for their international assignment; however, the available positions will ultimately determine the location.

At the end of the rotation year, each graduate program participant will receive a proposal outlining the area that best aligns with their career growth expectations and the company's availability. This proposal may lead to assignments in Research and Development (R&D) or Operations as part of the international assignment. The position will primarily be based at one of our production sites and closely tied to the core of our business.

The international assignment is a component of the Global Program, while in the Local Program, participants will take on a local role within the North American region.

The recruitment process starts in July 2026 and concludes by February 2027. The Graduate Program will begin in March 2027.

Explore the exciting opportunities presented by the Global Build the Future Program! This distinctive initiative offers a 3-year international assignment at a Prysmian location outside of North America. After spending 2 years in your home country, you'll have the chance to take on a role abroad, providing you with a wealth of new experiences.

The Empower Your Community program will provide onboarding, training, and job rotations that are similar to those in the Global Program. However, you will remain within North America, relocating to different locations within the United States and Canada. For a more detailed overview of the Empower Your Community program, click here.
