Prysmian’s Lifeline® cables and fire-rated systems are a cost effective and easy to install alternative to conventional fire protection methods available today. Already applied within major metropolitan transit systems in Boston, New York and Washington D.C., as well as within professional sports arenas, high-rise buildings, entertainment venues, and hospitals, Prysmian’s Lifeline® fire-resistive cable systems are equipped with unique, ceramified silicone technology designed to allow vital communication and power systems to remain operational during extreme fire conditions.
At booth #439, Prysmian will showcase the following fire-resistant products:
- Lifeline® MC (U.S.), Lifeline® RHW-2 (U.S.) and Lifeline® RC90 (Canada) – Ceramifiable Silicone Technology cables that are easier to install and more cost effective than mineral insulated (MI) cables.
- Lifeline® QFCI – Fiber optic cables that are halogen free, flame retardant, and include a patented design that ensures operation for three hours in fires up to 1000C.
