Dry FusionLink™ RICT Cable
FusionLink™ Dry Flat-Ribbon Central Tube Cable is a leading design in the ribbon cable industry, offering numerous advantages. This cable incorporates dry-tube technology and features both coupled and uncoupled ribbon designs, making it compatible with standard fiber management systems.
The "coupled" design eliminates the need for splice coupling coils in aerial applications, while the "uncoupled" design requires a coupling coil at each splice point. The FusionLink Flat-Ribbon design also streamlines installation processes for crews by providing easy access to cables, facilitating splice-tray preparation, and enabling quick fusion splicing of up to 12 fibers at a time.
Depending on fiber count, the FusionLink Flat Ribbon is available in 12-, 24-, or 36-fiber configurations. Notably, the 24 and 36-fiber ribbons can be easily separated into 12-fiber subunits for efficient fusion splicing. Additional features include precision ribbon geometry, an easily removable ribbon matrix, and superior kink resistance in the buffer tubes.
