ezPlan™ Medium Span Medium Load Cable
Prysmian’s all-dielectric, self-supporting (ADSS) fiber optic cable product line requires careful selection, as each network application has unique needs. Key factors influencing cable design include the maximum span between poles, required installation sag (ground clearance), and regional weather conditions such as ice accumulation and wind speed.
In addition to selecting the appropriate cable, it is crucial to choose pole attachment hardware that matches the ADSS cable’s outside diameter. As a result, nearly every ADSS cable design requires a tailored set of pole attachment hardware.
ezPlan™ Aerial Broadband System
To simplify the selection process, we introduced the ezPlan™ Aerial Broadband System to make aerial broadband deployment easier. This system features the most popular single-mode ADSS cable fiber counts and provides a streamlined Bill of Materials, including cable, pole-line hardware, and closures.
