ezTOOLS™ Buffer Tube Midspan Access Tool
Prysmian’s ezACCESS Buffer Tube Access Tool provides quick and easy access to fibers every time. Designed for midspan entry into buffer tubes to access fibers, this is the one-stop tool for veteran or new installers.
Specially designed inserts securely hold the buffer tube in place, while a precision-ground blade “shaves” only the tube wall, providing reliable access without damaging the fiber or coating. An industry study found that Prysmian’s ezACCESS Buffer Tube Access tool provides the most consistent, safe, and reliable access, while other tools frequently damage fibers and/or coatings.
Interchangeable labeled inserts support a wide variety of buffer tube sizes used for different fiber counts and cable designs. The tool’s thick-gauge steel-alloy construction and hard-shell tote case ensure years of reliable field use. These interchangeable inserts can be changed in and out within 15 seconds.
