PowrServ® OH Triplex Neutral-Supported Cable Type NS75-NS90 (Canada)
Features and Benefits
The insulated conductors of NS75/NS90 Service Drop Cables are designed to resist weathering, sunlight, abrasion, tearing, cutting, and chemicals. These cables are rated for 600 V and have a maximum conductor operating temperature of 90°C for Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, enabling higher ampacity than the NS75 cable.
Applications
Duplex and Triplex NS75/NS90 Service Drop Cables are intended to deliver single-phase power from the secondary overhead power line or pole-mounted transformer to the service entrance conductors of a user’s building or other structures. Quadruplex NS75/NS90 Service Drop Cables, on the other hand, are designed for delivering three-phase power from the secondary overhead power line or pole-mounted transformers to the service entrance conductors of a user’s building or other structures. Additionally, NS75/NS90 cables can be used as pole-line secondaries with service splices at the pole (refer to CEC rule 12-318). These cables are rated for use in systems with nominal voltages of 600 V or less.
