600 Volt SUPERFLEX™ XLP Cable
600 Volt SUPERFLEX™ XLP is a secondary UD power cable made with aluminum conductors and single-layer cross-linked polyethylene insulation, designed for an optimal balance of flexibility and mechanical toughness.
Design Parameters
Conductors: Class B Compressed Unilay conductors (ranging from 1 AWG to 4/0 AWG) or Compressed Round aluminum alloy 1350, compliant with ASTM standards.
Phase Insulation: Extruded thermosetting cross-linked black polyethylene, which is resistant to sunlight.
Neutral Insulation: Extruded thermosetting cross-linked black polyethylene featuring three extruded yellow stripes (spaced 120° apart) for clear identification of the neutral.
Assembly: For multiple cable assemblies, one-, two-, or three-phase conductors are twisted together with a neutral conductor.
Cable Markings: Sequential footage markings are printed on one phase conductor. Phase identification is printed in white ink on the surface: 1/C - “Phase A”, 1/C - “Phase B”, 1/C - “Phase C”, as applicable.
