The AUTO-FLEX® TC tray-rated power supply cable is specifically designed for use as a power supply connection between a welding timer or controller and the base of a robot in resistance welding applications. This cable offers a flexible solution that simplifies installation compared to standard tray cables. It is suitable for a variety of applications that require flexibility and can be used in exposed runs in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Design Parameters 

Conductors: Class K stranded, soft-drawn bare copper, per ASTM B-3 and ASTM B-172. 

Insulation: Heat and moisture-resistant, thermosetting crosslinked polyethylene meeting the requirements of ANSI/NEMA WC70 ICEA S-95-658. The insulation is acceptable for use in wet or dry locations at 90° C. The insulation thickness is in accordance with Table 17 of UL 44. 

Jacket: Heat, moisture and sunlight resistant thermoset jacket, meeting the requirements of ANSI/NEMA WC70 ICEA S-95-658. The jacket thickness is in accordance with Table 12.3 of UL 1277.
