Product description

Central Office Power Cable is a Class I, flexible cable composed of tinned-copper strands with a braided design. It features a low-smoke, zero-halogen, silicone-free composite insulation. This cable is rated for a maximum temperature of 105°C in dry conditions and 90°C in wet conditions. It is UL Listed as RHW-2/USE-2, suitable for both wet and dry conditions, and can handle up to 600 volts. Available sizes range from 1/0 to larger, and it meets FT4, ST1, and UL CT use ratings.

 

Construction

Conductors: Class I flexible stranded tinned copper that meets ASTM B-33 and UL requirements. An opaque Mylar tape is applied to the conductor to facilitate stripping. 

Insulation & Covering: The insulation is a heat and moisture-resistant, low-smoke, non-halogen composite material, layered with a natural cotton braid. This conforms to UL Standard 44, Telcordia Specification GR-347-CORE, and ATIS Specification 0600017.
