FLAT-FLEX® Festooning Cable
FLAT-FLEX® Festooning Cable is specifically designed for use in festoon systems that provide electrical power and control to cranes, hoists, and other equipment that moves laterally. These cables are ideal for applications with limited space as they can be stacked, and they are suitable for scenarios that require extreme flexibility, with a recommended bend radius of 3 to 5 times the cable diameter.
FLAT-FLEX cables are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, operating effectively in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 105°C. However, they are not recommended for severe flexing or impact when temperatures drop below -10°C. For applications involving severe flexing at temperatures below -10°C, it is advisable to use FLAT-FLEX Neoprene Festoon Cables.
