INDUSTRITE™ Welding Cable
INDUSTRITE™ Welding Cable is specifically designed and manufactured for use in welding and other applications that involve frequent flexing. It is built to withstand flame, abrasion, chemicals, moisture, impact, tearing, and extreme temperatures.
This cable is suitable for a variety of uses, including welding electrode leads, welding stingers, welding ground leads, battery cables, bus welding boxes, jumper cables, ground cables, lift trucks, and other portable power applications that require exceptional flexibility.
Construction Options
INDUSTRITE welding cable is available in a variety of colors.
Design Parameters
Conductors: The conductors are made of extra-flexible rope stranding (Class M) soft-drawn uncoated copper, adhering to ASTM B-3, ASTM B-172, and UL-62 standards. This design ensures high flexibility, increased flex life, and a reduced risk of copper fatigue or conductor breakage.
Separator: A paper separator is used for easy stripping.
Insulation/Jacket: The insulation and jacket are made from a bright orange, oil- and flame-resistant thermoset CPE composite. This material conforms to ANSI/NEMA WC58 and ICEA S-75-381 standards, providing excellent physical and electrical properties. Its bright color enhances visibility for safety, and it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in severe flexing applications, where exposure to oil, chemicals, and extreme temperatures is a factor.
