PENDFLEX™ Pendant Control Cable

PENDFLEX™ Pendant Control Cable is specifically designed to ensure maximum flex-life in challenging continuous flexing conditions. It is built to withstand flames, chemicals, moisture, and extreme temperatures. PENDFLEX is suitable for a variety of applications, including portable control systems, festoon systems, pendant stations, power tracks, cranes and hoists, power carriage systems, and other flexible applications.

Design Parameters

Conductors: The conductors are made from extra-flexible, soft-annealed, bunch-stranded bare copper (Class M). This design provides extreme flexibility and complies with ASTM standards B3 and B174.

Insulation: The insulation is color-coded, high-quality, glossy, and smooth polyvinyl chloride (PVC), rated for 90°C, and meets UL-62 and CSA C22.2 No. 49 standards. This insulation enables easy identification of conductors, offers outstanding flexibility, and has excellent physical and electrical properties.

Cabling: The conductors are cabled with an overall binder that is helically applied, ensuring exceptional performance even under severe flexing. 

Strain Relief: The design includes two 1/16” (1.6 mm) galvanized steel supports that are extruded with the jacket for added durability.

Jacket: The cable is available in stock with a glossy, vibrant yellow polyvinyl chloride jacket, in compliance with UL-62 and CSA C22.4 No. 49 standards. This jacket enhances safety visibility, outstanding flexibility, and abrasion resistance.
