UF-B Cable
UF-B cables are designed for direct burial and indoor branch-circuit wiring. They operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +90°C. The features listed below are standard, but can be customized to meet your requirements.
Construction
Conductor: Solid or stranded bare annealed copper per ASTM B3.
Insulation: Heat and moisture-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheathed with a clear layer of nylon.
Typical Circuit Identification: Insulation coded in accordance with NEMA WC-57 (black, red, white and non-insulated grounding conductor).
Assembly: Insulated circuit conductors are assembled in a flat parallel configuration with an abrasion and moisture-resistant overall jacket.
Jacket: Abrasion and moisture-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
