Prysmian’s Travis Starnes Recognized as a 30 Under 35 Award Recipient by tED Magazine
Prysmian, the world’s largest cable and wire manufacturer based in the Cincinnati region, announced that Travis Starnes, Senior Industrial Products Manager at Prysmian | Encore Wire, has been named a recipient of tED Magazine’s 2026 30 Under 35 Award, which recognizes emerging leaders making a significant impact across the electrical industry.
As Senior Industrial Products Manager for Prysmian North America, Starnes oversees an $800 million portfolio that includes medium-voltage, tray cable, diesel locomotive (DLO), and armored cable products. He leads a team of eight professionals while driving business strategy and collaborating across product development, supply chain, and operations to support customer and market needs.
Since joining Prysmian, Starnes has delivered strong business results and led several key initiatives. As Great Lakes Regional Sales Director, he grew the region’s business by 16% year over year and played a leading role in integrating the Carol brand into Prysmian | Encore Wire systems and go-to-market strategies. He also completed the inaugural Sell-It Wave 1 leadership development program, which included executive coursework through SDA Bocconi School of Management, the University of South Carolina, and Singapore Management University.
“I’m honored to be recognized among this year’s 30 Under 35 recipients and to be included alongside so many talented emerging leaders in our industry,” Starnes said. “I’m grateful to be part of a team that is committed to innovation, collaboration and delivering meaningful solutions for our customers and partners, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the future of our industry.”
Starnes was selected from a competitive pool of candidates representing manufacturers, distributors, manufacturers’ representatives and logistics companies throughout the electrical industry. He and the other honorees will be recognized at the NAED LEAD Conference, October 12-14 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and featured in the July digital edition of tED Magazine and throughout the year on tedmag.com.
“Travis has quickly established himself as a talented leader with a strong track record of driving business results, leading strategic initiatives and supporting team success,” said Brian Moriarty, Industrial and Construction Senior Vice President at Prysmian North America. “We’re proud of his contributions to Prysmian and congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition. This honor reflects the impact he continues to make within our organization and across the industry.”
