As one of the world’s leading analytical chemists, Carolyn Cox had worked for years to create a way to stretch the limits of molecular flexibility. After spilling a beaker of one of her experiments on her ungloved hands, she discovered she had created just such a solution. The problem was that it had only a brief effect on inanimate objects while permanently altering living things. Upon awakening the next morning,  she discovered her body was able to stretch, allowing her to extend her arms, legs & torso, making her extremely flexible and resistant to even the harshest environments and toxic elements such as oils and acids  – powers she would use for good and allowing her to become CAROL, a Prysmian Group Hero.
