Lean Engineering for Greater Cost Efficiency
We are actively investing in, developing, and mastering lean engineering processes while exploring innovative products, tools, and methodologies to meet all our customers' needs. Independent studies have shown that our 66 kV inter-array cable systems, which operate at higher voltage levels, offer significant advantages, particularly in terms of cost-effectiveness. They can considerably reduce capital expenditures for wind farms compared to the more commonly used 33 kV systems.
By operating at a higher voltage, our system achieves exceptional efficiency, allowing us to transport twice as much power through a single array cable. This results in a significant reduction in the required cable length and overall costs, showcasing the robust performance of our system.
Moreover, with fewer cables entering the offshore substation, our system leads to considerable space and cost savings. The decrease in the number of J-tubes, transformers, and switches provides a practical advantage, making our solution even more cost-effective.
Our 66 kV inter-array cable systems have undergone rigorous testing and received approval from the Carbon Trust Offshore Wind Accelerator Program. This endorsement confirms the reliability and credibility of our system, ensuring you of its quality and performance.
