Marine medium-voltage (MV) cables are specifically designed to meet the increasing power distribution needs of offshore drilling rigs, production platforms, and Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units. Prysmian’s AIRGUARD® marine-rated polymeric armored cable is a reliable solution, eliminating the need for outdated interlocked and CCW® cables. Its rugged polymeric AIR BAG™ armor and chemical barrier protection package ensure its performance in harsh environmental and installation conditions. AIRGUARD® is available in medium-voltage, low-voltage, instrumentation and VFD cable constructions. It is TC-ER-HL-rated for Class Division 1 and Zone 1 applications.
