Offshore Cables Installation

OVERVIEW

You demand safety, compliance and quality in cost-effective solutions. We deliver.

Prysmian Group has supplied cable solutions for offshore projects for more than 25 years. Our track record spans projects in all the world’s main Oil & Gas operating basins and covers a wide array of power and communication cable systems in the industry’s most challenging operating environments.

Our range offers enhanced resistance to fire, mud, oil, fuels, moisture, sunlight, vibration, abrasion, and drilling fluids and includes marine-rated medium- and low-voltage power, control, instrumentation and fiber optic systems. The range spans all major international standards and can be customized to meet local requirements.

Our Exploration & Production portfolio is complemented with the range of BICON accessories.

Offshore & Onshore Cable Systems Portfolio:

Our IEEE 1580 Type P cables are designed to preserve the operational integrity of mission-critical equipment in the most severe environments of upstream offshore and onshore oil and gas drilling rigs, production platforms, MODUs and FPSOs. Engineered with mud oil resistance for increased safety and productivity, our IEEE 1580 Type P offering includes flexible unarmored and armored and sheathed signal, control, low-voltage and AC variable frequency drive (VFD) cables.
