E Path

E Path Labeling Criteria

To earn the E Path label, each cable family must undergo a rating process that includes the following criteria:

  1. Carbon Footprint—Aimed at defining climate change impacts deriving from the life cycle of the cable.
  2. Substances of Very High Concern—Considers the absence of substances that are carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic to reproductive health, or hazardous to the environment.
  3. Recyclability & Circularity— Considers the materials in the cable or the cable as recyclable.
  4. Recycling Input Rate—Considers the presence of recycled materials in a cable, both purchased and reused.
  5. Environmental Benefits—Low-carbon products (including cables used for green energy sources) and CPR-compliant products (safe operations).
  6. Cable Transmission Efficiency—Considers the efficiency of the cable, which will contribute to a more sustainable performance.
