I am Gopika Mahesh and I have a Master degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I joined the Prysmian Group in 2018 through the 7^th wave of the Graduate Program.

What do you do in Prysmian?

I am currently in the first year of the Graduate Program, and with the job rotations in this year, I will be working for various business functions within the company. With my roles in the R&D and Operations, I have been assigned challenging projects that enabled me to develop a deep technical understanding of the functions and the co-dependency of their processes. At the same time, the projects have required me to use my leadership skills, thereby giving me opportunities to prepare myself for responsibilities in the future.

What do you like most about Prysmian?

The company has a very positive working environment with every employee working hand-in-hand towards a common goal. I have worked with expert colleagues that are supportive and always ready to share knowledge.

What is the best thing about your job?

What I love about the Graduate Program is that I get the chance to understand and experience the business from various perspectives. This will definitely help in broadening my horizons and with an international assignment and the endless opportunities to experience cultural exchanges, the program fosters a well-balanced professional and personal growth.
