Alessandro Trolli joined the Prysmian Group through the 1st wave of Build the Future, in 2012. Find out what he does within the Group and what his experience is.

What do you do at Prysmian?

I am entrusted with the “submarine cables program management”, aiming to have the ownership of managing and coordinating product development programs. My responsibility is focused on achieving product development targets, monitoring projects calendar to promote flow of activities and on keeping a profitable link between all R&D, System Design and other functions to improve product development effectiveness.

3 adjectives to describe your experience at Prysmian Group

First adjective that comes into my mind is challenging, because every day there is a different challenge to face; secondly dynamic, because the daily challenges are never the same, giving me the possibility of learning every day; lastly, cross-functional, because I had the possibility to see the product from concept study to development in order to meet customer expectations.

What do you like most about Prysmian?

Cross cultural environment and the possibility of international mobility are two of the Prysmian feature I like more.

What is the best thing about your job?

Dealing with people from different functions, from R&D, System Design, Project Management and Business development is the most fascinating part of my job.

Why would you recommend Prysmian to a young talent?

Prysmian empowered me by giving me the opportunity to work two years abroad and now in a multicultural environment: it´s not just a job, Prysmian positive impact has helped me in the achievement of big personal growth!
