I joined Prysmian Group, 1st Graduate Program wave in 2012. It has been 6 years of exiting experience. My steep learning curve started from R&D, Production and Sales departments in Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania. I have soaked the cable industry knowledge from our older, experienced colleagues. Right after that, as a part of the Program, I received a great opportunity to join Mobility program for 2 years and work as Product Development Engineer.

I became part of highly talented, motivated team in unique Prysmian Group factory in Vila Velha/Cariacica , Brazil. My technical background, persistance and commitment allowed me to quickly adopt and grow in the company. After the assignment I returned ’home’ which, during my absence, merged with Germany creating Central Eastern Europe Region. In the new region my responsabilities were linked to R&D activities, namely, product development, cost optimization, cable design and together with our colleagues within the new region we transferred massive amout of knowledge between the factories. The most important, in my opinion, was the transfer of Fire Resistant cable production from Germany to Hungary.

Working together as a team made the project successful. Since April 2018 I took the position of Quality Assurance Manager for Central Eastern Europe. It is new, partially undiscovered area for me, but I am more than sure that together with the Quality Team we will succeed to mantain high standards and top quality level of products and services delivered by Prysmian, Draka and General Cable.

Changing environments, cultures, businesses I always try to follow the phrase ’think global, act local’. Try, it is worth!
